Technical  Information

 

Solar showers are easy to install, connect to a garden hose,
or choose to have one  plumbed in.
 

The showers work using the solar heating of the sun (no solar panel), the back of the shower unit must be north facing to maximise the heat from the sun. 

 

The water temperature of the shower will depend on the heat the sun has provided. 
 

All our showers are equipped with fasteners. Showers must be installed on concrete, decking or permanent hard level surface. 'Perfect for around the pool'

 

Showers are designed for 3 bar pressure -  New Zealand's mains pressure is 5 bar - check with your plumber before purchasing as they will need to install a reducing valve - this is easy to do.

 

Anti-corrosion material.
 

SPRING, HAPPY FIVE, BIG HAPPY and JOLLY have a hot and cold mixer along with a foot washer.

 

You will need to check with your local council on any permits required  - epecially if you are having a shower plumbed in.
